About Us!
Hello, I'm Louise and I've been a foster carer for the local authority since 2005, caring for some of the counties most traumatised and challenging young people. Through working with teens, I realised there was a need for a one to one therapeutic alternative learning provision for those struggling to manage and thrive in a mainstream school environment. Specifically those with challenging behaviour and who are at risk of exclusion.
Through outdoor activities and adventures and real hands on animal care, I want to help young people to re engage in an alternative style of education, one that will provide a calm and safe space for them to explore.
Along the way they will get to learn some new skills and be awarded certificates in paddlesports and work towards getting a John Muir award for discovery and conservation.
